Q1: What is your payment policy?

A: At Dr. Sunny Yuen's office we have a non-assignment policy. If you haven't heard this word before, it means that you, as a patient, will pay us for the treatments rendered on the same day. The insurance company will reimburse you according to the provisions in your plan. Our office will submit your claim electronically for you at the end of your visit, and provide you with the forms needed if you have co-ordinated benefits. If you have any questions we'd be happy to assist you as much as we can, but do note that if you want us to talk to an insurance company on your behalf, you will need to be present for the phone call as they have a strict privacy policy that will not allow them to disclose any information to a third party.
