Night Guards/Splints

A night guard protects your teeth from occlusal trauma. They are generally used in protecting your jaw and teeth from grinding and clenching while you sleep. It is an appliance used to align the jaw so that the jaw joints sit properly in their sockets to promote proper movement.

A properly fabricated night guard requires the dentist's knowledge on occlusion (bite). Not all night guards are the same. Please consult your dentist regarding your clinical situation, sign and symptoms prior to any fabrication.
